Born and raised in New Bedford, Norman Shurtleff grew up in a hardworking family. His father was a contractor, while his mother managed the household. Early on, he learned how life’s ups and downs were tied to his father’s success in the trades. By age 13, Norman was determined to run his own business and invest in real estate.

At 17, he began working alongside his father, gaining hands-on experience that would shape his entrepreneurial journey. In 1995, at just 21, he opened his first wireless store—a venture that expanded to five locations across Bristol County. For over two decades, Norman successfully navigated the ever-changing wireless industry by adapting to shifting market demands.

As the industry evolved, Norman’s wife’s remarkable customer service skills stood out. Her ability to remember names, conversations, and even passwords from past interactions inspired him to pursue a new path—real estate. In 2010, the couple earned their real estate licenses and never looked back.

Today, they own a thriving real estate brokerage and a respected real estate school with a team of 40 dedicated agents. Their school has trained thousands of aspiring real estate professionals. For Norman, real estate isn’t just a business—it’s a lifelong passion rooted in hard work, family values, and a commitment to helping others build better futures.
